Winter Storm Warning issued January 17 at 12:47AM EST until January 17 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Charleston WV

* WHAT…Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10
inches, with locally higher amounts of up to 12 inches. Winds
gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Northwest Pocahontas and Southeast Randolph Counties.

* WHEN…Until 7 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Reduced visibility in areas of
heavy snow or blowing snow will be possible. Travel could be very
difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
evening and Friday morning commutes.
