Winter Weather Advisory issued January 16 at 12:45PM MST until January 17 at 11:00PM MST by NWS Riverton WY

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches near
Thermopolis, higher amounts up to 6 inches in the Owl Creek and
Bridger Mountains. North winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Owl Creek and Bridger Mountains and Southwest Bighorn
Basin.

* WHEN…From 9 AM to 11 PM MST Friday. Heaviest snow and strongest
winds will occur between 9 AM and 6 PM Friday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slick road conditions. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Friday evening commute. Blowing snow will lead to
reduced visibility. Travel could be especially difficult through
Wind River Canyon and around Thermopolis.
