Cold Weather Advisory issued January 17 at 5:54PM CST until January 18 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Grand Forks ND

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 40 below expected. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously
cold wind chills as low as 51 below expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central, north central, and northwest
Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN…For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 9 PM this evening to 6
PM CST Saturday. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 6 PM Saturday
to noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 50 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.
