* WHAT…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 19 expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory Central and
Southern Louisiana, Southeast Texas, very cold wind chills as low
as 14 expected. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, very cold
wind chills as low as 15 expected. The Cold Weather Advisory
starting Monday night will be expanded to cover more time in
subsequent issuances.
* WHERE…Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west
central Louisiana and southeast Texas.
* WHEN…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 3 AM to 9 AM CST
Sunday. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 9 PM Sunday to
noon CST Monday. For the third Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM
Monday to midnight CST Tuesday Night. The Cold Weather Advisory
starting Monday night will be expanded to cover more time in
subsequent issuances.
* IMPACTS…Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure.
