Cold Weather Advisory issued January 18 at 5:02PM MST until January 19 at 11:00AM MST by NWS Grand Junction CO

* WHAT…For the first Cold Weather Advisory tonight, very cold
temperatures as low as 30 below expected. For the second Cold
Weather Advisory Sunday night, very cold temperatures as low as 25
below expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch Monday night,
dangerously cold temperatures as low as 40 below possible.

* WHERE…Upper Gunnison River Valley.

* WHEN…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this
evening to 11 AM MST Sunday. For the second Cold Weather Advisory,
from 10 PM Sunday to 11 AM MST Monday. For the Extreme Cold Watch,
from Monday evening through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Very cold temperatures can lead
to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
