Cold Weather Advisory issued January 18 at 9:56PM CST until January 20 at 9:00AM CST by NWS New Orleans LA

* WHAT…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 12 expected. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, very
cold wind chills as low as 14 expected.

* WHERE…Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.

* WHEN…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM Sunday to 9
AM CST Monday. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM
Monday to 6 PM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Hard freeze conditions are forecast for areas along and
north if the I-12 corridor as well as southwest and coastal
Mississippi. In addition, very cold temperatures and wind chills
can lead to hypothermia if proper clothing is not worn.
