central Virginia, and southeast West Virginia.

* IMPACTS…The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia or
frostbite if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermia
will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured
water pipes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…An extended period of extreme cold possible
Monday through Wednesday, possibly continuing into Thursday.
Sunday night and Tuesday night will be the coldest days. Daytime
high temperatures on these days will be in the teens with some
single digits in the mountains.
