Easterly winds will increase tonight as a system approaches the
region from the south. Expect winds to begin increasing late
tonight and continuing through mid to late morning Sunday before
gradually decreasing. Portage Valley and along Eastern Turnagain
Arm could see sustained easterly winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts
of 45 to 65 mph. Occasional gusts to 70 mph are possible near the
Portage Glacier Visitor Center.
