Winter Storm Warning issued January 18 at 11:16PM EST until January 19 at 10:00PM EST by NWS State College PA

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and
6 inches. Higher amounts are possible on the hill tops like South
Mountain, Blue Mountain and the Furnace Hills.

* WHERE…A portion of central Pennsylvania.

* WHEN…From 4 AM to 10 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very
difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest snow will fall between 2 and 6
PM EST. Rates of 1 inch per hour or higher are possible during
that time in intense snow bands.
