Winter Storm Watch issued January 18 at 2:55PM CST until January 22 at 12:00AM CST by NWS Lake Charles LA

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet
accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around
a light glaze possible.

* WHERE…Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west
central Louisiana and southeast Texas.

* WHEN…From Monday evening through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. The strong winds and weight of
snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic
power outages. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
