Cold Weather Advisory issued January 19 at 2:15PM MST until January 20 at 11:00AM MST by NWS Grand Junction CO

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory tonight into Monday morning,
very cold temperatures as low as 25 below expected. For the
Extreme Cold Watch Monday night into Tuesday morning, dangerously
cold temperatures as low as 40 below possible.

* WHERE…Upper Gunnison River Valley.

* WHEN…For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to
11 AM MST Monday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Monday evening
through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Very cold temperatures can lead
to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
