* WHAT…There is a Freeze Warning and a Cold Weather Advisory in
effect tonight, for sub-freezing temperatures as low as 26
degrees, and wind chills as low as 16 degrees. There is a Freeze
Watch and another Cold Weather Advisory for Tuesday night into
Wednesday, for temperatures as low as 25 degrees, and wind chills
as low as 15 degrees.

* WHERE…All of South Texas excluding the barrier islands.

* WHEN…For the Freeze Warning and first Cold Weather Advisory,
from midnight tonight to 9 AM CST Monday. For the second Cold
Weather Advisory, from 9 PM Monday to 9 AM CST Wednesday. For the
Freeze Watch, from late Monday night through Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
