Cold Weather Advisory issued January 19 at 8:26PM CST until January 21 at 12:00PM CST by NWS Aberdeen SD

* WHAT…For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills
as low as 46 below expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very
cold wind chills as low as 39 below expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central, north central, and northeast South
Dakota.

* WHEN…For the Extreme Cold Warning, from midnight CST /11 PM MST/
tonight to noon CST /11 AM MST/ Monday. For the Cold Weather
Advisory, from noon CST /11 AM MST/ Monday to noon CST /11 AM MST/
Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
exposed to these temperatures.
