Extreme Cold Watch issued January 19 at 6:35PM EST until January 22 at 12:00PM EST by NWS Charleston WV

* WHAT…For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills
as low as 20 below expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch,
dangerously cold wind chills as low as 18 below possible.

* WHERE…Southeast Fayette and Southeast Raleigh Counties.

* WHEN…For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 1 AM to 4 PM EST Monday.
For the Extreme Cold Watch, from late Tuesday night through
Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing
temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.
