Extreme Cold Watch issued January 20 at 1:28AM CST until January 22 at 9:00AM CST by NWS Houston/Galveston TX

* WHAT…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 14. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind
chills as low as 12 expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch,
dangerously cold wind chills below 10 degrees possible.

* WHERE…Portions of south central and southeast Texas.

* WHEN…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, until noon CST today.
For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 9 PM this evening to 6
PM CST Tuesday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Tuesday evening
through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure.
