High Wind Watch issued January 19 at 12:49PM MST until January 22 at 5:00AM MST by NWS Cheyenne WY

* WHAT…For the Extreme Cold Warning, very cold wind chill values
as low as 40 below zero. For the High Wind Watch, west winds 35 to
45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible.

* WHERE…Central Laramie Range and Southwest Platte County.

* WHEN…For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 11 PM this evening to 2
PM MST Monday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 2 PM Monday to
11 AM MST Tuesday. For the High Wind Watch, from Monday evening
through late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

Rain/snow showers returned to the Yukon Delta Sunday afternoon as the next system arrived. Showers will stretch north to St. Lawrence Island by Monday morning and to the southern Seward Peninsula by noon Monday. Showers are expected to be a messy rain/snow mix, especially in the Yukon Delta and lower Yukon Valley where the mix will be more rain than snow. Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Parsons. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Flood waters spread over fields to a distance of 1 and one fourth miles. Several county roads, mainly along the left bank are inundated. Several residents which live along the right bank in the vicinity of Highway 400 may experience water entering their homes at basement levels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM CDT Monday
