Cold Weather Advisory issued January 21 at 1:57AM CST until January 21 at 6:00PM CST by NWS New Orleans LA

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 13 expected. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold
wind chills as low as 7 above expected.

* WHERE…Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.

* WHEN…For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 6 PM CST this evening.
For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 6 PM this evening to 9 AM CST
Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing
temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.
