metro area and wind chills as low as 15 below in the mountains.

* WHERE…Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro
Area, Northwest Plateau, Chuska Mountains, Far Northwest
Highlands, Northwest Highlands, Jemez Mountains, and Espanola
Valley.

* WHEN…Until 11 AM MST this morning.

* IMPACTS…The dangerously cold wind chills will increase the risk
of hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
