High Wind Warning issued January 21 at 2:20AM MST until January 22 at 5:00AM MST by NWS Cheyenne WY

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chill values
as low as 30 below zero. For the High Wind Warning, west winds 35
to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph.

* WHERE…Central Laramie Range and Southwest Platte County.

* WHEN…For the High Wind Warning, until 5 AM MST Wednesday. For
the Cold Weather Advisory, until 11 AM MST this morning.

* IMPACTS…Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be
hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including
campers and tractor trailers. In addition, areas of blowing snow
could lead to reduced visibility, even whiteout conditions, and
slick roads. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected
skin is exposed to these temperatures.
