* WHAT…For the first Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind
chills as low as 4. For the second Extreme Cold Warning,
dangerously cold wind chills as low as 10 expected.

* WHERE…Portions of southeast Alabama, Big Bend and Panhandle
Florida, and south central and southwest Georgia.

* WHEN…For the first Extreme Cold Warning, until 10 AM EST /9 AM
CST/ this morning. For the second Extreme Cold Warning, from 10 PM
EST /9 PM CST/ this evening to 10 AM EST /9 AM CST/ Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing
temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.
