Snow Squall Warning issued January 22 at 3:19PM MST until January 22 at 3:45PM MST by NWS North Platte NE

The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for…
Northwestern Grant County in west central Nebraska…
Southeastern Sheridan County in the Panhandle of Nebraska…

* Until 345 PM MST.

* At 319 PM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located 11 miles
northeast of Ellsworth, or 35 miles east of Alliance, moving south
at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
greater than 35 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes Highway 2 between mile markers 117 and 129, and between
mile markers 132 and 137.

Locations impacted include…
Ellsworth, Ashby, Watson Lake, Bingham, Wolf Hill, Finnegan Lake,
Kennedy Lake, and Argo Hill.
