The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for…
Northeastern Hooker County in west central Nebraska…
Northern Thomas County in north central Nebraska…

* Until 445 PM CST/345 PM MST/.

* At 416 PM CST/316 PM MST/, a dangerous snow squall was located near
Seneca, or 11 miles west of Thedford, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
greater than 35 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 2 between mile markers 189 and 220.
Highway 83 between mile markers 141 and 152.

Locations impacted include…
Thedford, Seneca, Natwick, Norway, and Kelso.
