Cold Weather Advisory issued January 23 at 2:48AM EST until January 24 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Jacksonville FL

* WHAT…For the Freeze Warning, freezing temperatures as low as 28
to 32 expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind
chills as low as 20 to 25 expected.

* WHERE…Coastal Flagler, Coastal St. Johns, Eastern Clay, Eastern
Putnam, Inland Flagler, Inland St. Johns, Western Putnam, Central
Marion, Eastern Marion, and Western Marion Counties.

* WHEN…For the Freeze Warning, from 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST
Friday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from midnight tonight to 9
AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…The cold wind chills as low as 20 degrees could result
in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Wind
chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
Appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and
outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold temperatures.
Young children, the elderly and the homeless are especially
vulnerable to the cold. Take measures to protect them.
