* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 9 to 18
inches and up to 1/4 inch of rain possible. Winds could gust as
high as 50 mph.

* WHERE…Lower Yukon and Innoko Valleys and Upper Kuskokwim
Valley.

* WHEN…From Thursday afternoon through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could
bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Potential for rain to mix with snow. Due to
the mixing of precipitation, snow may become moisture-laden and
dense. Heaviest snowfall will be Friday night through Saturday
morning.
