Special Weather Statement issued January 24 at 5:01AM CST by NWS Quad Cities IA IL

Temperatures have dropped below zero and near ten below zero in
some places this morning. Light winds have lead to sproadic
wind chills of 20 below zero. There will be a short period
through about 9 AM as winds increase and temperatures remain
below zero when wind chills in the negative teens to negative 20
are possible. This is especially true in areas where snow fell on
Wednesday.

If you must go outside, dress in layers including a hat, face
mask, and gloves.
