Cold Weather Advisory issued January 25 at 1:56AM PST until January 25 at 10:00AM PST by NWS Portland OR

* WHAT…Very cold temperatures as low as 20 degrees.

* WHERE…Greater Portland/Vancouver Metro, Central and Southern
Willamette Valley, Northern and Central Coast Range Valleys and
Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Northern and Central Oregon
Cascades, Willapa Hills and Adjacent River Valleys of Pacific and
Wahkiakum Counties, Lower Columbia River and Cowlitz River
Valleys, South Washington Coast, and South Washington Cascade
Foothills.

* WHEN…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, until 10 AM PST this
morning. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this
evening to 10 AM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Apparent (“feels like”) temperatures as low
as 25 degrees in the Portland/Vancouver metro area and 15 degrees
elsewhere. Areas experiencing easterly winds near the Columbia
River Gorge will see warmer temperatures – some above freezing.
