ESFPUB
This statement is primarily for the Arkansas River in Fremont,
Pueblo, Crowley, Otero and Bent Counties.
This statement is valid from Jan 24 to Jan 30, 2025.
Warming temperatures has led to the break up and movement of river
ice. Accumulating river ice at bridges, river bends, or other
channel constrictions may lead to jamming and elevated river levels.
Flooding is not expected at this time. However, elevated river levels
from ice jams can occur rapidly and with little notice.
Please report any flooding to local law enforcement and emergency
management, and heed caution when near the Arkansas River.
