Winter Storm Warning issued January 24 at 2:46PM AKST until January 26 at 9:00AM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow. Additional snow
accumulations of 8 to 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50
mph. Visibility one half mile or less at times in blowing snow.

* WHERE…White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon
River.

* WHEN…Until 9 AM AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility.
