Winter Weather Advisory issued January 24 at 3:03PM AKST until January 26 at 9:00AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Snow expected. Visibility as low as one half mile at
times.Total snow accumulations of 9 to 18 inches. Southerly
winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

* WHERE…Susitna Valley north of Talkeetna, including Broad
Pass.

* WHEN…Until 9 AM AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow will intensify late this afternoon
through the evening and then persist through the weekend. This
storm system will bring warmer air, leading to to a transition
to rain as far north as the Chulitna area on Saturday. The best
chance for continued snow will be the north end of Broad Pass up
to Cantwell.
