Winter Weather Advisory issued January 25 at 2:03AM PST until January 26 at 4:00PM PST by NWS Sacramento CA

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6
inches for elevations above 5000 feet and up to 8 inches over
peaks. A dusting of snow is possible down to 3000 feet. Winds
gusting as high as 45 to 55 mph.

* WHERE…West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada above 5000 feet and
south of US Highway 50.

* WHEN…From 7 AM this morning to 4 PM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slick travel conditions and possible chain
controls. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heaviest snow expected this evening.
