Cold Weather Advisory issued January 25 at 1:02PM PST until January 26 at 10:00AM PST by NWS Medford OR

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold temperatures
combined with gusty winds will lead to wind chill values as low as
5 to 15 degrees. For the Wind Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 25
mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* WHERE…The Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the eastern
Douglas County Foothills, eastern Curry County, and all of
Josephine and Jackson Counties. This includes Grants Pass, Cave
Junction, Medford, and Ashland. The Wind Advisory is in effect for
the eastern Douglas County Foothill and the higher terrain of the
Kalmiopsis Wilderness, the Rogue/Umpqua Divide, and the foothills
of the Siskiyous and Cascades.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Gusty winds will blow around
unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power
outages may result.
