Wind Advisory issued January 25 at 10:45PM PST until January 26 at 10:00AM PST by NWS Eureka CA

* WHAT…For the Wind Advisory, north winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts
up to 50 mph over the ridges and through wind-channeled terrain.
For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 28
expected.

* WHERE…Southern Lake.

* WHEN…For the Wind Advisory, until 10 AM PST Sunday. For the Cold
Weather Advisory, until 9 AM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Wind gusts will be particularly strong along windward
ridges. There is an increased risk of tree branches and other
debris on roadways. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured
objects. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. Wind chill values can lead to
hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
