Winter Storm Warning issued January 25 at 3:11PM AKST until January 26 at 12:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow. Additional snow
accumulations of 6 to 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45
mph. Visibility one half mile or less at times in blowing snow.

* WHERE…White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon
River.

* WHEN…Until noon AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult along the Dalton and
Steese Highways. Areas of blowing snow could significantly
reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A large snowfall gradient is forecast with
substantially lower snowfall totals generally less than 4
inches southeast of the Steese Highway.
