* WHAT…Blizzard conditions occurring. Additional snow
accumulations of up to 2 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph. Visibilities reduced to a quarter-mile or less at times.
* WHERE…Kuskokwim Delta.
* WHEN…Until 9 AM AKST Monday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Areas of heavy snow
and blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite
on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Falling snow will gradually give way to
scattered snow showers through this morning. Strong north winds
will continue to lead to whiteout conditions in blowing snow
through early this morning. The worst conditions and lowest
visibilities will be focused from Bethel and east.
