Flood Advisory issued January 27 at 12:31AM PST until January 27 at 4:00AM PST by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southwest California, including the southern
portion of Los Angeles County.

* WHEN…Until 400 AM PST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1229 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between
0.2 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Long Beach, Downtown Los Angeles, Inglewood, Alhambra,
Torrance, Culver City, Whittier, Hollywood, Griffith Park,
Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Pasadena,
Beverly Hills, Universal City, Rancho Palos Verdes, Venice,
Burbank and Santa Monica.
