Freeze Warnings across the Suwannee Valley and portions of Northeast Florida remain in effect until 9:00 AM EST for temperatures as low as 26-degrees expected.
Shady areas that remain wet will still create slick and icy conditions this morning across roadways for portions of North Florida.
High pressure settling in across the Southeast U.S. will bring mostly sunny and pleasant conditions throughout the state creating a reprieve from cold temperatures last week (near 0% chance of rain).
Plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures will allow for any lingering snow and ice in shady areas to continue to melt throughout the day.
Overnight a weak frontal boundary will approach the Panhandle from the west creating isolated showers west of the Apalachicola River through the early morning hours on Monday (20-30% chance of rain).
Areas of patchy fog will be possible late overnight and into early Monday morning, with locally dense fog possible for portions of South Florida.
High temperatures will return to the 60s and 70s across the state this afternoon.
For the first time in a week, low temperatures across North Florida will remain above freezing in the upper 30s to upper 40s overnight.
Central Florida can expect low temperatures in the middle to upper 40s. South Florida can expect low temperatures in the middle 50s and middle 60s.
A moderate risk for rip currents can be expected to persist along Panhandle and East-Central Florida beaches. A high risk can be expected along Southeast Florida beaches.
