Special Weather Statement issued January 27 at 3:21AM EST by NWS Morristown TN

StormPrep

The rain and snow will continue into the early morning before
diminishing. Elevations above 3500 feet will see mainly snow with
up to 2 inches of accumulation possible. Lower elevations will
see more rain or a rain and snow mix, and in locations where snow
accumulation occurs it will generaly be less than an inch. Locally
higher amounts will be possible over the highest peaks.

The light snowfall may produce some snow covered roadways by early
morning, especially secondary roads, bridges and overpasses, and
higher elevations. Drive with caution and slow down.
