Winter Storm Warning issued January 26 at 11:19PM AKST until January 27 at 11:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

* WHAT…Snow, blowing snow, and high winds. Additional snow
accumulations of up to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55
mph. Visibility one half mile or less at times in blowing snow.

* WHERE…White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon
River.

* WHEN…Until 11 PM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult along the Dalton and
Steese Highways. Areas of blowing snow could significantly
reduce visibility. The worst conditions and strongest winds
will be during the day on Monday over Eagle Summit and
Ptarmigan Pass. The rest of the Elliott and Dalton Highways
will see much less wind with gusts up to 30 mph.
