Winter Storm Warning issued January 26 at 9:08PM AKST until January 27 at 5:00PM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulation
of 12 to 20 inches for Thompson Pass. Additional snow
accumulation of 6 to 12 inches for Valdez to Keystone Canyon.
Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE…Northeast Prince William Sound.

* WHEN…Until 5 PM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heavy snow will persist for Thompson Pass
through early Monday afternoon, with snowfall rates of up to 2
inches per hour possible. Gusty southerly winds with snow will
reduce visibilities to one half mile or less at times.
