Winter Storm Warning issued January 27 at 4:24AM EST until January 28 at 6:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations 4 to 8
inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph will result in significant
blowing snow and greatly reduced visibility at times.

* WHERE…The Eastern Lake Ontario Region.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 6 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Whiteout conditions are possible and will make travel
treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel will be
difficult. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce
visibility. Strong winds will cause extensive tree damage and
power outages.
