Winter Weather Advisory issued January 27 at 3:14AM EST until January 28 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5
inches with locally higher amounts up to 6 inches mainly north of
Route 28. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Herkimer County.

* WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday
evening and Tuesday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Rapidly falling temperatures are anticipated
upon the passage of a cold front early tomorrow morning. Road
conditions could become especially slippery due to rapid cooling
around the morning commute. Additionally, blowing snow due to
gusty winds could lower visibility. Extra caution is advised for
routine morning travel.
