Cold Weather Advisory issued January 28 at 2:39AM PST until January 28 at 9:00AM PST by NWS Medford OR

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold temperatures as
low as 15. For the Air Stagnation Advisory, a strong inversion and
stagnant air conditions near the surface will trap pollutants
possibly leading to poor air quality.

* WHERE…Valleys of Eastern Curry County, Josephine County, and
Jackson County, including Medford, Ashland, Grants Pass, Roseburg,
Cave Junction, and all surrounding areas.

* WHEN…For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 9 AM PST this morning.
For the Air Stagnation Advisory, until noon PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with
prolonged exposure. Poor air quality may cause issues for people
with respiratory problems. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if
unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
