Special Weather Statement issued January 28 at 8:37AM EST by NWS Burlington VT

At 836 AM EST, A snow squall was reported along a line extending from
near Middlesex to Roxbury to Leicester. Movement was southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD…Winds 35 mph or greater, and visibility less than a half
mile.

SOURCE…Radar indicated. ASOS reporting 35 mph gusts and half to
quarter mile visibility.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and will blow
around unsecured objects. Low visibility will pose a hazard
to motorists.

Locations impacted include…
Barre, Rutland, Montpelier, Middlebury, Braintree Hill, Orange,
Killington, Salisbury, Rutland City, Websterville, Chittenden, West
Rutland, Middlesex, Granville, Ira, Tunbridge, Hancock, Corinth
Corners, Washington, and Ripton.

This includes Interstate 89 between mile markers 13 and 57.
