Winter Weather Advisory issued January 28 at 3:27AM EST until January 29 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Marquette MI

* WHAT…Snow and patchy blowing snow expected. Total snow
accumulations between 3 and 8 inches, with isolated amounts up to
10 inches possible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Baraga, Keweenaw, Northern Houghton, Ontonagon, and
Southern Houghton Counties.

* WHEN…From 7 AM this morning to 7 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A heavy band of snowfall may develop this
evening across the area. If it does, the Winter Weather Advisory
could be upgraded to a short-lived Winter Storm Warning.
