the higher terrain of the Tug Hill Plateau and western foothills
of the Adirondacks, and 5 to 9 inches for lower elevations. Winds
gusting as high as 45 mph will produce significant blowing and
drifting snow.
* WHERE…The Eastern Lake Ontario Region.
* WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult with snow covered roads.
Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday morning and evening
commutes. Gusty winds will down tree branches and cause isolated
power outages.
