Winter Storm Warning issued January 28 at 9:43PM EST until January 30 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected for elevations at and above 1500 feet.
Total snow accumulations between 6 and 9 inches. For elevations
lower than 1500 feet, total snow accumulations between 3 and 6
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Bennington and Western Windham Counties.

* WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult. Snowfall rates of 1 to 1.5
inches per hour are possible tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Gusty winds can result in blowing snow that
can reduce visibilities.
