Winter Weather Advisory issued January 28 at 9:43PM EST until January 30 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5
inches with up to 6 inches in the northern and eastern Catskills.
Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of western Massachusetts, the Upper Hudson
Valley, the central Mohawk Valley, Schoharie County, the eastern
Catskills, and the Rensselaer Plateau.

* WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions for the Wednesday
morning and evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Gusty winds reaching up to 40 mph can result
in blowing snow that leads to reduced visibilities. Snow showers
and snow squalls are also possible Wednesday afternoon and early
evening that lead to brief whiteout conditions.
