Flood Advisory issued February 6 at 10:05PM EST until February 7 at 1:15AM EST by NWS Morristown TN

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of east Tennessee, including the following
counties, Anderson, Jefferson, Knox and Sevier.

* WHEN…Until 115 AM EST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1005 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen over the last hour. Additional moderate to heavy
rain will continue over the next hour or two, and will
exacerbate ongoing minor flooding.

Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Sevierville, Clinton, Dandridge,
Strawberry Plains, Halls, Mascot, Kimberlin Heights,
Maloneyville, McMahan, Seymour, Kodak, Piedmont, Powell,
Fairgarden, Bird Crossing and Chestnut Hill.
