Flood Advisory issued February 6 at 4:40PM PST until February 6 at 9:30PM PST by NWS San Francisco CA

* WHAT…Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is occurring. Large Rocks are blocking portions of the
highway.

* WHERE…The Big Sur Coast along highway 1 in Monterey County

* WHEN…Until 930 PM PST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Rocks and debris on roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 436 PM PST, local law enforcement reported flooding and
rock slides in the advisory area.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Lucia, Gorda, Big Sur Village, Esalen Institute, Julia
Pfeiffer Burns State Park, Partington Ridge, Andrew Molera
State Park and Pico Blanco Campground.
