Flood Advisory issued February 6 at 9:33PM EST until February 7 at 12:45AM EST by NWS Jackson KY

* WHAT…Elevated river levels caused by excessive rainfall are
expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following
counties, Bell, Harlan and Knox.

* WHEN…Until 1245 AM EST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 933 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Harlan, Pineville, Loyall, Evarts, Wallins Creek, Kentenia,
Coldiron, Tremont, White Star, Pathfork, Molus, Teetersville,
Liggett, Tacky Town, Elcomb, Mary Alice, Black Snake,
Sunshine, Hensley Store and Tway.
